From intimate Cottage Homes and Rowhouses, to elegant Manor Homes, to trendy Village Center Lofts, there are home styles to suit a wide variety of living preferences and family sizes. Browse the Village Gardens Plan Library for specific options for single and multi-family dwellings. Another option for Village Gardens residents is Secondary Dwelling Units. These units, sometimes referred to as Granny Apartments, can be built on various home types above the garage. Some individuals will build the Secondary Dwelling Units for their children returning or living in during college or they may choose to rent the unit for additional income. Village Gardens has been inspired by Lincoln’s historic neighborhoods, constructed between 1880 and 1940. By incorporating the scale, setback, rhythm, and various materials, textures, and details of Lincoln’s most desirable older neighborhoods, the Village Gardens team is creating a neighborhood which both captures the traditional charm of Lincoln while establishing innovative approaches for new developments in our community.
