        Architectural Design The Village Gardens team includes several architecture firms. Link here for additional information on all of the firms involved in the project. Architectural Plans Studio951 and Bahr Vermeer and Hacker are Lincoln-based architectural firms, which have joined the Village Gardens team to help define and assure the integrity of the Village Gardens community environment. Our architects have taken the Village Gardens Architectural Standards and developed the Village Gardens Library of Home Plans, an extensive collection of home designs and floor plans to guide the construction of Village Gardens.
Architectural Fees Included in the price of any Village Gardens home lot is either: a) Architectural Plan fee. The lot purchaser can choose from a wide variety of home styles and floor plans in the Village Gardens Plan Library. Each plan includes a floor plan as well as multiple exterior elevation plans. If the lot purchaser desires to alter the plans, four hours of design time and one hour of meeting time with the architectural team is included to personalize and make minor revisions to the existing plans. If additional changes are necessary, there is an additional fee for this process. The creation of the site plans necessary for the City of Lincoln approval to construct the home is also included with this fee. OR b)Village Gardens Architectural Committee (VGAC) Review. Lot purchasers can choose to create a custom plan, which must be submitted to the VGAC for approval. One round approval with the VGAC fee is included in the price of the lot (when the lot purchaser does not use a house plan from the Village Gardens Library).
Village Gardens Architectural Review Committee (VGAC) The purpose of the VGAC is to assure that all home plans adhere to the Architectural and Design Standards of Village Gardens. The VGAC consists of:
