Village Gardens is proud to welcome Trinity United Methodist Church to our neighborhood!  One of Lincoln's oldest congregations,  the Church began construction on Phase I of its project in the Fall 2008, and held its first service at its new home in Village Gardens the first weekend of March 2010.  Prior to that first service, however, Trinity took an active role in the Village Gardens neighborhood.  In early July 2008, congregation members placed prayer flags on their padsite.  And, on July 18, 2008, the church hosted a "Movie on the Green" night for its members and Village Gardens residents to attend.  The movie "August Rush" was shown to the approximately 90 people who attended. 

In addition to its church, Trinity operates a successful child care facility.  Child care operations will begin at the Village Gardens location in June 2010.
